Blominvest Competition
The launching date would be October 5, students will have a week to register.
The VCL miss Sarah Ayoub sarah.ayoub1@net.usj.edu.lb
will then provide all participants with a user name and password. And at the end of the 1st round (8 weeks), professors will then choose 5 students to qualify for round 2.
These 5 students will present their work to a joint jury Between BLOMINVEST and your University, where we then chose 3 students to qualify.
The top 3 winners out of the 5 will qualify to the national virtual stock exchange competition to compete again for another 2 months against their peers or winners from other universities.
Performers would be chosen based on a system of evaluation which will take into consideration 4 criteria:
The yield
The strategy used to achieve this yield The presentation content and Finally the delivery skills.
It’s important to note that the use of diversification of stocks and sectors, number of trades and allocation are crucial to your success.
Then, out of these 3 students per each university, a total of 5 students will qualify to the final round which is held annually at BLOM, Zaytouna in front of a jury.
Prizes will then be distributed to the winners of the competition and to the VCL. (Prizes will be determined)
