{"id":26626,"date":"2026-10-26T12:09:05","date_gmt":"2026-10-26T09:09:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fse.blogs.usj.edu.lb\/?p=26626"},"modified":"2026-10-26T12:09:05","modified_gmt":"2026-10-26T09:09:05","slug":"launch-of-the-5th-edition-of-the-dream-lebanon-contest-a-musical-memory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fse.blogs.usj.edu.lb\/en\/2026\/10\/26\/launch-of-the-5th-edition-of-the-dream-lebanon-contest-a-musical-memory\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of the 5th Edition of the \u201cDream Lebanon\u201d Contest \u2013 A Musical Memory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Banque BEMO, together with its partners, officially launched the 5th edition of the \u201cR\u00eaver le Liban\u201d writing competition on October 9, 2026, at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, under the theme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> \u201cA Musical Memory\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, we invite young Lebanese writers to draw inspiration from a piece of music, a song, or even a few notes that have left a mark on their lives, and to express, in their own words, the memory, emotion, or story it brings back to them and that connects them, in one way or another, to Lebanon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no single way to tell a memory, and that is precisely what interests us: discovering yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This fifth edition also marks an important new step: Spanish and Portuguese are joining Arabic, French, and English, allowing more young Lebanese, particularly those living abroad, to participate in the language they feel most comfortable expressing themselves in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The competition is open to young Lebanese, both residents and non-residents, enrolled in the final three years of secondary school, as well as university students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each participant may submit one original text, in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the attached regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entries will be evaluated by a jury in each of the five languages and across two categories: secondary school and university.
